A csúszó leértékelés tapasztalatai Magyarországon
[Experiences with the crawling band devaluation in Hungary]

Abstract

Tanulmányunkban a Magyarországon alkalmazott előre bejelentett csúszó rögzítéses árfolyamrendszer tapasztalatait tekintjük át. Az átmeneti gazdaságokban alkalmazott árfolyamrendszer megválasztásakor figyelembe kell venni a reformok indukálta inflációs feszültségeket, a termelési és az exportszerkezet átalakításának kényszerét, illetve a gazdaságpolitika hitelességének problémáját. Az olyan átalakuló gazdaságokban, mint Magyarország is, a sávosan rögzített, előre bejelentett csúszó árfolyam alkalmas a versenyképesség megőrzésének és az infláció mérséklésének kettős feladatát teljesíteni, ám ehhez a költségvetési és a strukturális politikák megfelelő segédlete is szükséges. Éppen ezért nem célszerű az árfolyamot túlságosan korán egy erős valutához kötni.
