Konvergencia és felzárkózás az euróövezetben
[Convergence and catching up in the Euro zone]

Abstract

A konvergencia az európai integráció alapvető mechanizmusa, a társadalmi-gazdasági kohézió előfeltétele. A konvergencia és a felzárkózás kiemelkedő jelentőségű témakörök a növekedési elmélet és a növekedési politika, így a strukturális reformok tekintetében is. A konvergencia mint sokdimenziós folyamat alapvető a GMU működése és fejlődése tekintetében. A konvergencia különböző dimenziói lényeges makroökonómiai összefüggéseket, átváltási (trade off) kapcsolatokat hordoznak. A legutóbbi válság tapasztalatai szerint a strukturális (a rugalmasabb gazdasági struktúrák irányában történő) konvergencia kulcsfontosságú a GMU hatékony működése, azon belül a termelékenység előmozdítása tekintetében. * Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) kód: E60, F15, F43, F45, O11, O43, O47.
