A tartós eszközök értékcsökkenési mintájának empirikus becslése
[Empirical estimation of the depreciation pattern of durable assets]

Abstract

A cikk a tartós eszközök gazdasági értékcsökkenésének elméleti hátterét, valamint empirikus megragadásának egy lehetséges módját mutatja be a használt személygépkocsik piacának információi alapján. A tartós eszközök értékcsökkenésére a szerző a bennük megtestesülő tőkeszolgálat felemésztődéseként tekint, amelyet az eszközök kimerülése, elhasználódása és avulása határoz meg. E jelenségek kirajzolják az eszközre és annak használati módjára jellemző értékcsökkenési mintát. Az értékcsökkenés megragadásának mikéntje hatással van a vállalkozások termék- és tőkepiaci versenyképességére, mert az értékcsökkenés meghatározza a vállalkozások jövedelmét és kibocsátásuk egységköltségét. A cikk a használt személygépkocsik értékcsökkenését a tőkeévjárat-modell elméleti bázisán Box-Cox-transzformációval vizsgálja. Az eredmények azt mutatják, hogy a személygépkocsik értékcsökkenése mértani mintát követ, amelyben a személyautók korának erősebb a magyarázó ereje, mint a - kor változójában megjelenő avulás hatása miatt - futásteljesítménynek.
