Abstract

The financial crisis that began brewing since before 2007 and deepened in 2008 had multiple impacts and consequences in global economic dynamics. Has overturned an alarming performance of capitalist economies in the world and, consequently, has led various governments to reorient economic policies that had been applied to deal with their adverse effects. Although it is moderately exceeded the credit crunch, the rate of growth of the global economy remains weak. The so violently as presented the current crisis, realizes it is accompanied by other external shocks to the system, such as natural disasters, food crises, energy crises, sovereign debt crisis and the outbreak of social movements in the world. This article addresses some of the most general features on the progress of the world economy and its lake-term trend.
