Abstract

The waiting time distribution in an ( s , S ) continuous review inventory system with constant lead times is derived in this paper. The demand times are assumed to constitute a renewal process, and demand sizes are independent identically distributed (i.i.d.) integer valued random variables. Some relationships are given between waiting time and some common inventory measures.
