Kavramsal ve Kuramsal Olarak İş Doyumu

Abstract

Bu makale, alanyazında iş tatmini olarak da sıkça karşılaşılan iş doyumunu, kavramsal ve kuramsal olarak açıklamak üzere hazırlanmış bir derleme çalışmasıdır. çalışanların görev ve sorumlulukları ile fiziksel ve sosyal çalışma ortamlarından etkilenmeleri dolayısıyla işleri hakkında hissettikleri olumlu duygular (Sattar, Khan, & Nawaz, 2010) olarak tanımlanan iş doyumu, kuramsal açıdan içerik ve süreç yaklaşımları olarak iki ana grupta ele alınmaktadır. Makale çerçevesinde başlıca içerik yaklaşımları; Maslow'un ihtiyaçlar hiyerarşisi teorisi, Herzberg'in çift faktör teorisi, McClelland'ın başarı motivasyon teorisi, Alderfer'in varoluş teorisi ve McGregor'un X - Y teorisi ile süreç yaklaşımlarının başlıcaları olarak ise; Vroom'un beklenti teorisi, Adams'ın eşitlik teorisi ve Latham & Locke'un hedef belirleme teorisi açıklanmıştır. Kuramlardan hareketle iş doyumunu etkileyen faktörler ve iş doyumunun etkilerinin de tanımlanmasıyla makale son halini almıştır.
