Strategic innovation: can we learn something by applying a learning perspective?

Abstract

Strategic innovation – understood both as a proactive repositioning of an organisation and as the creative thinking process leading to such repositioning – has risen to the top of the agenda of top managers and academia in recent years. It is the main argument of this paper that we can learn quite a lot by applying a learning perspective to the idea of strategic innovation.
