Resource based theory and strategic management: the link with organisational learning

Abstract

Many firms today are operating in an extremely competitive environment where there is a constant need for improved performance. In this paper, we propose an analysis of this competitive scenario from the perspective of resource-based theory, strategic management and examine the possible links between these and organisational learning.
