Abstract

The current article seeks to present and discuss the research results as part of the ‘Magenta’ Project, which focuses on mapping whether and how nationality has been an impact factor in the context of domestic work in Portugal during the COVID-19 pandemic. This quantitative study sought to compile and organize statistical data showing the effects of COVID-19 on domestic workers in the mainland and island regions of Portugal throughout 2021. Due to the extent of the research, this article focuses only on analyzing the results that show statistically significant associations between the pandemic and the variables of different nationalities in domestic work in Portugal.
