Etnografia e cultura organizacional: uma contribuição da antropologia à administração de empresas

Abstract

The article discusses contributions of anthropology to management through the analysis of the knowledge produced through its classical method, the ethnography, in an interpretative approach. Beginning with the identification of the differences between the anthropological and management approaches of the culture concept, the article abandons the last one and shows how ethnography can be useful in a detailed interpretation of the cultural dynamics in an organization or in part of it, allowing a deeper comprehension of human behavior in this context and a more realistic picture of the challenges managers face everyday.
