Le pratiche di green management nelle aziende sanitarie: dalle strategie all?implementazione delle azioni in IRCCS Humanitas

Abstract

Il presente contributo intende offrire una panoramica sulle strategie di green management per ridurre l?impronta ambientale delle aziende sanitarie, con un approfondimento delle azioni adottate dall?IRCCS Humanitas in questo campo. Dopo aver esposto le principali sfide ambientali affrontate dal settore sanitario e presentato una breve disamina delle politiche a livello internazionale ed europeo, l?articolo identifica tre categorie di pratiche che caratterizzano il green management: 1) gestione dei rifiuti, 2) progettazione di infrastrutture ospedaliere ecocompatibili, 3) gestione energetica e del consumo di acqua. Lo studio analizza le azioni finora intraprese dall?IRCCS Humanitas rispetto a tali tre leve, evidenziando come incorporare le pratiche di green management nella pianificazione strategica contribuisca a migliorare l?efficienza delle operations delle aziende sanitarie e a creare un ambiente pi? sostenibile a tutela della salute dei pazienti e del personale sanitario.
