La mobilit? transfrontaliera dei pazienti: un?analisi del fenomeno in Italia

Abstract

In un quadro di crescente globalizzazione i sistemi sanitari si trovano ad affrontare nuove sfide per la governance dell?assistenza ai pazienti. Il contributo prende le mosse dall?analisi della letteratura sulla mobilita sanitaria, affrontando il tema dal punto di vista delle politiche europee, nazionali e regionali, delle strategie delle aziende sanitarie e ospedaliere, e dei fattori che determinano i comportamenti dei pazienti. L?obiettivo e quello di focalizzare l?attenzione sulle dimensioni che ha assunto il fenomeno della mobilita transfrontaliera dei pazienti in Italia, attraverso l?elaborazione di dati forniti dal Ministero della Salute. Infine, si identifica una serie di implicazioni rilevanti per le politiche pubbliche, arrivando a delineare un modello multilivello per il governo della mobilita sanitaria europea, e si indicano alcuni spunti per la ricerca futura.
