Quale tutela del consumatore finanziario

Abstract

I rilevanti cambiamenti intervenuti nei mercati finanziari e ancor pi? le recenti crisi finanziarie hanno proposto con forza l?esigenza di un?adeguata protezione del consumatore finanziario. Tale protezione ? in primo luogo basata su appropriate forme di vigilanza macro e micro prudenziale. Tra queste ultime rivestono un ruolo primario le misure volte a salvaguardare la trasparenza delle condizioni e a proteggere il consumatore da comportamenti fraudolenti. A sua volta vanno favorite iniziative atte ad accrescere l?educazione finanziaria dei consumatori, e quindi anche l?accettazione di perdite quando il rischio assunto consapevolmente si realizza.
