Componentes socioeconómicos del perfil del docente involucrado en el emprendimiento en una Universidad Pública del Sur del Estado de México

Abstract

La mayoría de los estudios sobre intención emprendedora en instituciones de educación superior se han realizado con estudiantes. Sin embargo, es importante estudiar también el contexto de los profesores que forman a los estudiantes. Se sabe que la exposición a un ambiente de emprendimiento tiene un efecto positivo en la intención emprendedora. Por lo anterior, el objetivo de este trabajo fue describir los componentes socioeconómicos del perfil del docente involucrado en el emprendimiento en una Universidad Pública del Sur del Estado de México. Se realizó un estudio cuantitativo. Se obtuvieron datos a partir de un cuestionario elaborado con preguntas cerradas en escala de Likert. El cuestionario se aplicó en línea usando la herramienta Google Docs. El cuestionario fue respondido por una muestra intencional de 54 profesores. Se analizaron los datos obtenidos con el software SPSS. Se aplicaron técnicas estadísticas de análisis descriptivos y tablas cruzadas. Los resultados permitieron identificar que el perfil del docente involucrado en actividades de emprendimiento fue determinado por relaciones relevantes entre antecedentes familiares, formación profesional, experiencia y formación en emprendimiento. Para continuar esta línea de investigación se recomienda ampliar, a fin de brindar resultados más sólidos que puedan contribuir a fortalecer los programas académicos de las diferentes áreas de conocimientos interesadas en fomentar el espíritu emprendedor.
