Abstract

La gestión integral del talento humano por competencias (GITHC) constituye una alternativa para el incremento del rendimiento profesional y con ello una vía para maximizar la capacidad individual y colectiva que provoque generar valor en los procesos empresariales. Este artículo presenta los actuales enfoques en el tema de gestión del talento humano (GTH) en base a competencias, las necesidades de diseñar un sistema de gestión para las Universidades cubanas, además propone un modelo para la gestión integrada del talento humano (GITH) por competencias, que integra los estudios y conceptos más actuales en este campo y los enfoques sistémicos y estratégicos organizacionales.
