Energy engineering education at postgraduate level: Issues involved, course structure and its proposed adaptation

Abstract

Some basic issues involved in providing energy engineering education at postgraduate level are briefly discussed. Salient features of a proposed teaching programme in energy engineering are described. Finally, suitable adaptation of the proposed course structure as per the existing three semester M. Tech. programme at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi is proposed.
