EU plans for renewable energy. An application to the Spanish case

Abstract

Recent success in the installation of renewable energy is largely due to public financial incentives. Data reported in this article show the incessant growth of renewable energy implementation and the key process for achieving the complete replacement of mixed electric generation in the European Union; specifically, this paper focuses on the case of Spain.
