Renormalization group treatment of the mixed-spin system in d-dimensional lattices

Abstract

The critical properties of the d-dimensional mixed-spin model (σ =12 and S = 1) is studied by using the mean-field renormalization group. The phase diagram and estimates of the critical exponent are obtained. Results are compared with other types of calculations when available.
