Optimizing natural resource markets: Accelerating green growth in the economic recovery

Abstract

This research aims to improve natural resource markets for faster green growth during the economic recovery. Using the generalized method of moments (GMM) model, the study examines the relationship between green growth transmission and natural resource availability and reliance. Data from 30 Chinese provinces from 1986 to 2019 is analyzed. The study explores ways to enhance natural resource markets through sustainable resource management, circular economy principles, technological advancements, and legislative frameworks. It emphasizes the optimization of natural resource markets to expand economic possibilities, improve resource efficiency, and reduce environmental harm. The findings underscore the importance of holistic strategies that consider economic, social, and environmental factors simultaneously. By implementing supportive policies, sustainable practices, and investing in green technology, countries can foster a more equitable, resilient, and ecologically sustainable economic recovery.
