Abstract

This study examines the impact of enterprise digital transformation and the level of enterprise risk-taking on a sample of Chinese listed companies from 2012 to 2022. The findings show that digital transformation of enterprises significantly increases the risk-taking level of enterprises, and the impact of the degree of digital transformation of enterprises is more obvious for non-state-owned enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises. Our study provides a new research perspective on enterprise digital transformation, which is of policy guidance significance to enterprises.
