Abstract

Today's management information and decision-making can benefit from computer-based, flexible Executive Information Systems (EIS). Hans-Jörg Bullinger and Heinrich Huber, of the Fraunhofer-lnstitut for Industrial Engineering in Stuttgart look in some detail at management support with EIS and the use of planning models. They make suggestions for the best implementation and operation of EIS.
