Abstract

The highlight of this year's Top Management Forum in Barcelona was the culminating address by Helmut Schmidt. Thanks to the courtesy of the organizers, the Economist Conference Unit and Management Centre Europe, EMJ is able, exclusively, to present the edited text of his speech in full, subject only to deletions of remarks aimed principally at influencing military strategy.
