Abstract

After exploring the meaning of globalization at different levels: world, country, industry, company and corporate function, the authors focus on examining the twin forces of ideological change and technology revolution which are making globalization one of the most important issues facing companies today. Globalization impacts on many aspects of corporate strategy and decision-making; the authors offer insight into how sizeable companies should benefit from this inevitable trend by suggesting questions to be included in any strategic agenda.
