Experimental studies on wick-type, double-effect solar distillers with air flow through the second-effect unit

Abstract

The effect of air flow (through the second effect unit of wick-type, double-effect solar distillers) on productivity has been investigated experimentally. Considerable improvement in productivity was obtained when the air flow was conducted at the optimal rate, especially for lower strengths of insolation.
