The effects of relative permeability characteristics and thermal conductivity on in situ combustion performance

Abstract

We discuss the effect of relative permeability characteristics and thermal conductivity on in situ combustion performance. A thermal simulator was used for the investigation. The simulator was initially used to simulate a laboratory in situ combustion run. Comparison between simulated and laboratory results shows that the simulator is adequate for this study.
