Emisiones De Co2 Y Azufre Y Crecimiento Económico: ¿Una Curva De Kuznets Ambiental?

Abstract

En este trabajo se analiza el papel desempeñado por factores exógenos al modelo de la curva de Kuznets ambiental (CKA) en aquellos casos en los que se detecta una transición en la relación emisiones-PIB (en términos per cápita). Para ello, comparamos los resultados de la estimación econométrica habitual del modelo CKA con el análisis de los efectos tiempo y con los resultados del análisis gráfico de la evolución de los indicadores por países para los dos contaminantes seleccionados: emisiones de CO2 y de azufre. Se completa el estudio con los resultados de un análisis de descomposición de la tasa de crecimiento de las emisiones.
