A empresa e a formacao profissional: uma aplicacao aos texteis portugueses

Abstract

Na actual sociedade do conhecimento, dispor de informação é uma condição necessária mas não suficiente para alimentar o desempenho competitivo das organizações. Cada vez mais, o conhecimento é o factor de produção por excelência e está a assumir o comando do comportamento dos agentes económicos. Contudo, o mercado, para esse factor de produção, é imperfeito. Neste sentido, as empresas deverão internalizar tal facto, consciencializando-se e corresponsabilizando-se pela produção do próprio conhecimento. Para tal, por recurso a políticas activas do mercado de trabalho, associadas a políticas de gestão estratégica, elas poderão conduzir os seus recursos humanos para a formação profissional, dado que esta é uma variável de controlo na utilização, na difusão e na produção do conhecimento, que protege e sustenta a longevidade das próprias empresas.
