Rasantes Wachstum der Zahl kreativ Tätiger in Berlin

Abstract

Die Zahl der Erwerbstätigen in "kreativen Tätigkeiten" ist seit Mitte der 90er Jahre kräftig gestiegen. Besonders stark fi el das Wachstum in Berlin aus; jeder zehnte Kreative in Deutschland ist in der Hauptstadt tätig. Nach dem Jahr 2000 hat sich vor allem die Zahl der selbständigen Kreativen erhöht. Die meisten von ihnen beschäftigen keine Arbeitnehmer. Bei dieser Personengruppe dürfte es sich häufig um freie Mitarbeiter handeln. Kreativ Tätige sind vergleichsweise hoch qualifiziert. Sie leben und arbeiten vor allem in den großen Städten und stellen dort einen beachtlichen Wirtschaftsfaktor dar.
