Determinantes de la informalidad laboral en el área metropolitana de pasto

Abstract

El artículo pretende analizar los principales determinantes de la informalidad laboral en el área metropolitana de Pasto, desde la visión estructuralista de la informalidad laboral. Como fuente de información, se utiliza la Gran Encuesta Integrada de Hogares (GEIH) del DANE para el II trimestre de 2008. Los resultados muestran que Pasto presenta una de las tasas de informalidad más altas del país y que la mayoría de empleos formales que genera la ciudad se ubican en los sectores financiero, salud, educación y gobierno.
