Hacia unas políticas reales de empleo para inmigrantes en Espana

Abstract

Las políticas activas de empleo pretenden contribuir al incremento de las posibilidades de incorporación y mantenimiento laboral de los inmigrantes, combinando, al mismo tiempo, flexibilidad y seguridad en el empleo.El objetivo de este trabajo es sondear los aspectos fundamentales de las políticas de empleo para inmigrantes en Espana, a través del conocimiento de las iniciativas y estrategias estructuradas para brindar a los inmigrantes oportunidades de integración sociolaboral, con una metodología basada en el análisis cualitativo y cuantitativo de contenidos de la legislación y los planes y programas de las instituciones públicas que son responsables de la política laboral. El resultado más apreciable ha sido el de lograr una aproximación a las características de las políticas activas de empleo enfocadas a los inmigrantes, y sus posibles efectos sobre las desigualdades presentes en el mercado de trabajo a partir de la toma en consideración de la heterogeneidad de los diferentes colectivos que participanen este mercado.
