La relación entre crecimiento económico y el mercado bursatil

Abstract

Resumen Este trabajo pretende mostrar la posible relación existente entre el progreso técnico, que es la mayor fuente de crecimiento de las economías del mundo, y las variaciones del mercado bursátil, porque normalmente, cuando los mercados bursátiles entran en crisis, se transmite al sector real de las economías. Para mostrar esta relación, se toma el cálculo del progreso técnico realizado por Bernal (2010) que es alternativo al método de Solow y se relacionará con algunas variables del mercado bursátil como los índices de las bolsas de valores. Se concluye que existe una relación entre el comportamiento de la actividad económica real y el comportamiento del mercado bursátil, más exactamente, es posible establecer una relación clara entre el mercado bursátil y el progreso técnico.
