Sobre la renta, el impuesto a la renta y el costo marginal

Abstract

Vickrey formula el Teorema GHV sobre la base de los aportes seminales a la teoría de la renta del suelo y el costo marginal de George y Hotelling. A partir de la formulación del Teorema, este artículo hace aproximaciones a la teoría de la Renta del Suelo Urbano formulada por Jaramillo e incluye las reflexiones de Ricardo sobre el impuesto al suelo. En virtud a que el Teorema GHV se refiere a los aportes de Hotelling sobre el costo marginal, para proponer que el bienestar es plausible gravando con impuestos la tierra, se incluyen en el artículo las bases de la reflexión sobre costo marginal propuestas por Marshall, concretamente referidas a la tierra urbana.
