Trayectorias y condiciones para la innovación en empresas de propiedad femenina: análisis comparativo de dos ciudades colombianas

Abstract

Resumen El objetivo de este artículo es realizar un análisis comparativo de las trayectorias y condiciones institucionales del entorno para desarrollar procesos de innovación en empresas de propiedad femenina en las ciudades de Bogotá y Bucaramanga (Colombia). La investigación parte de desarrollar la teoría de los campos como mecanismo de análisis para configurar una red conceptual que identifica a la mujer empresaria como un agente importante del campo empresarial, y a la innovación como un proceso estratégico en el que intervienen trayectorias y capitales específicos. Metodológicamente se hace un análisis discursivo de categorías inducidas en torno a las trayectorias y a los contextos institucionales, que emergen de un conjunto de 27 entrevistas semiestructuradas, que recopilan las experiencias de mujeres empresarias que han desarrollado procesos de innovación y que han sido reconocidas en diferentes ámbitos. Como resultado, el artículo identifica que, si bien existen diferencias en el entorno institucional de las dos ciudades, las empresarias a partir de sus trayectorias logran construir estrategias favorables para el desarrollo de prácticas que apuntan a la innovación. Aunque, el contexto institucional de la ciudad de Bucaramanga parece reportarse como más favorable para la innovación, las expresiones discursivas no permiten afirmar que Bogotá se presente como un contexto hostil.
