Algunas consideraciones sobre la estructura curricular de los programas de Economía en Colombia

Abstract

Este artículo expone algunas particularidades de las estructuras curriculares de los programas de Economía a partir del análisis cuantitativo de una muestra seleccionada con criterios de región y rendimiento en los exámenes de estado para los estudiantes de Economía. De acuerdo con los resultados de los análisis de la estructura curricular de los programas de Economía, se observan convergencias entre las estructuras curriculares con unas pequenas diferencias regionales. Esta creciente homogeneización de currículos puede sugerir la existencia de una estrategia de líder-seguidor dentro de los programas de Economía. Los programas tienden a imitar la estandarización de unos programas líderes nacionales para ofrecer currículos modernos, competentes, prestigiosos o de renombre, flexibles e integrales sin tener en cuenta sus propias especificidades o sellos diferenciadores.
