Branchen im Fokus: Einzelhandel – Apotheken

Abstract

Da Apotheken, ebenso wie der Lebensmitteleinzelhandel, zu keinem Zeitpunkt von Corona-bedingten Schließungen betroffen waren, sind die Auswirkungen auf die Geschäftslage bislang weniger stark ausgeprägt als in vielen anderen Einzelhandelsbereichen. Allerdings kam es 2020 vermehrt zu Lieferengpässen bei Medikamenten sowie einem geänderten Nachfrageverhalten. Die Coronakrise beschleunigt den Trend zum Online-Shopping auf Kosten des stationären Angebots. Weitere Herausforderungen für die Branche sind die geplante Einführung des E-Rezepts sowie die häufig nicht einfach zu klärende Nachfolgefrage.
