Covid-19 und die Industrie: Führt die Krise zum Rückbau globaler Lieferketten?

Abstract

Die Corona-Pandemie hat im Jahr 2020 die Industrieproduktion in Deutschland teilweise zum Erliegen gebracht. Etliche Unternehmen konnten aufgrund fehlender Vorprodukte ihre Produktion nicht aufrechterhalten. Grenzschließungen und Betriebstopps in Partnerländern ließen Vorprodukte gar nicht oder erst verzögert in Deutschland ankommen. Gleichzeitig führte in manchen Branchen auch der abrupte Ausfall der Nachfrage zum Stillstand der Produktion.
