Ein Jahr nach der Wahl: Welche Auswirkungen hat die Präsidentschaft Trumps auf Wirtschaft und Politik?

Abstract

Ein Jahr nach der Wahl Donald Trumps zum Präsidenten der Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika wurden in der Quartalsbefragung des ifo World Economic Survey weltweit Wirtschaftsexperten und in gleicher Form in der November-Umfrage des Ökonomenpanels von ifo und FAZ Professoren für Volkswirtschaftslehre an deutschen Universitäten zur Regierungsarbeit der neuen US-Regierung befragt. Die Einschätzungen beider Panelbefragungen weichen im Mittel kaum voneinander ab. Insgesamt sehen die Befragten beider Expertengruppen mehrheitlich keine positiven Impulse unter Trump. Besonders negativ bewerten die befragten Experten die Auswirkungen der Politik Trumps in den Bereichen Wirtschaft, Umwelt, Gesundheitswesen, soziale Gerechtigkeit, Frieden und Sicherheit sowie internationale Zusammenarbeit. Die Leistung des US-Präsidenten wird von vielen Teilnehmern vielmals sogar noch schlechter eingestuft, als sie es zuvor erwartet haben.
