Abstract

Der Beitrag stellt zwei mögliche Marktdesigns für die Stromversorgung der Zukunft vor: eine Weiterentwicklung des »Energy-only-Market« und ein kombinierter Strom- und Kapazitätsmarkt. Die erste Option geht davon aus, dass ein optimierter Strommarkt Versorgungssicherheit garantieren kann. Die zweite Option hält dies für nicht wahrscheinlich und befürwortet die Einführung eines zusätzlichen Kapazitätsmarkts.
