ifo Weltwirtschaftsklimaindikator weiter verschlechtert

Abstract

Das ifo Weltwirtschaftsklima hat sich im vierten Quartal weiter eingetrübt. Der Indikator liegt nun deutlich unter seinem langfristigen Durchschnitt. Für die Verschlechterung waren die ungünstigeren Einschätzungen zur gegenwärtigen Lage und mehr noch die Erwartungen für die nächsten sechs Monate maßgeblich. Die Ergebnisse belegen die schwierige Situation der Weltwirtschaft. Nach mehr als 20 Jahren wurde diesmal von den WES-Experten zum ersten Mal das »mangelnde Vertrauen in die Wirtschaftspolitik der Regierungen« als das wichtigste Problem im gesamten Länderdurchschnitt genannt, noch vor »öffentlichen Defiziten« und »Arbeitslosigkeit«.
