Staatsverschuldung in Europa: Status quo

Abstract

Die Wirtschafts- und Finanzkrise hat in den Jahren 2008 und 2009 die staatlichen Budgetdefizite in vielen Ländern Europas anschwellen lassen. Infolge der staatlichen Rettungsmaßnahmen im Bankensektor sind neben den automatischen Budgetwirkungen zudem weitere Belastungen auf viele Staaten Europas zugekommen, die den Schuldenstand erhöht haben. Der Beitrag zeigt die Schuldenstandsquoten für 28 europäische Länder im dritten Quartal 2009.
