Einzelhandel und Kfz-Handel: 2009 deutlicher Rückgang der Investitionen

Abstract

Die negative Entwicklung der Gesamtwirtschaft macht auch vor dem deutschen Einzelhandel nicht halt. Zwar läuft der private Konsum bisher relativ gut, die Einzelhandelsumsätze gingen in der ersten Jahreshälfte 2009 aber zurück. Die Einzelhandelsfirmen gehen davon aus, dass sich die negative Entwicklung im Laufe des Jahres noch verschärfen wird. Wie andere Wirtschaftszweige sieht sich auch der Einzelhandel in diesem Jahr vermehrt mit Finanzierungsschwierigkeiten konfrontiert. Nicht nur der Zugang zu Krediten ist schwieriger geworden, die Firmen haben daneben zum Teil höhere steuerliche Belastungen im Zuge der Unternehmensteuerreform zu verkraften. Für die Investitionen der Branche bedeutet das, dass die schwungvolle Investitionskonjunktur der vergangenen drei Jahre ihr Ende gefunden hat und 2009 wieder mit einem sichtbaren Rückgang der Ausgaben für Bauten, Ausrüstungen und sonstige Anlagen von über 10% zu rechnen ist. Voraussichtlich noch stärker wird der Kfz-Handel seine Investitionen kürzen. Vergleichsweise am wenigsten werden die Großunternehmen ihre Investitionen zurückstellen. Sie setzen nach wie vor auf Flächenexpansion im In- und Ausland. Da die kleineren Marktteilnehmer hierbei wegen der verbreitet schwierigen Ertragslage nicht mithalten können, ist davon auszugehen, dass die großen Handelssysteme weitere Marktanteile erobern können.
