Vorsichtig aufkeimender Optimismus in Europas Bauwirtschaft

Abstract

Im vergangenen Jahr dürfte das Bauvolumen in Europa leicht zurückgegangen sein (etwa - 0,2%). In ihren aktualisierten Prognosen erwarten die in der Euroconstruct-Gruppe zusammengeschlossenen Institute aus 19 west- und mittelosteuropäischen Ländern nur eine sehr zögerliche Erholung von knapp 1% für 2004 und rund 1½% für 2005. Die Hoffnung auf bessere Bauzeiten verstärkt sich erst im Ausblick auf 2006, aber selbst dann wird das Bauwachstum mit knapp 2½% hinter der erwarteten Zunahme des Bruttoinlandsprodukts zurückbleiben.
