ifo Konjunkturprognose Frühjahr 2023: Deutsche Wirtschaft stagniert

Abstract

Die hohen Inflationsraten belasten derzeit die Konsum- und Baukonjunktur durch eine sinkende Kaufkraft und erheblich gestiegene Finanzierungskosten. Gleichzeitig erholt sich die Industriekonjunktur aufgrund nachlassender Lieferengpässe bei Vorprodukten und kräftigen Rückgängen bei den Energiepreisen. Insgesamt dürfte die Wirtschaftsleistung im ersten Quartal 2023 noch einmal um 0,2 % zurückgehen. Im weiteren Verlauf des Jahres wird sich die deutsche Wirtschaft dann allmählich erholen. Spätestens ab Jahresmitte dürften langsam sinkende Inflationsraten und steigende Löhne wieder zu einem Reallohnplus führen und die Binnenkonjunktur stützen. Alles in allem wird das preisbereinigte Bruttoinlandsprodukt in diesem Jahr in etwa auf dem Niveau des Vorjahres stagnieren (-0,1 %) und im kommenden Jahr um 1,7 % zulegen. Damit wurde für das laufende Jahr an der ifo Konjunkturprognose Winter 2022 festgehalten und für das kommende Jahr die Wachstumsprognose geringfügig um 0,1 Prozentpunkte angehoben. Die Inflationsrate wird im Jahr 2023 mit durchschnittlich 6,2 % nur wenig niedriger liegen als im Vorjahr. Erst im kommenden Jahr dürfte die Rate auf 2,2 % zurückgehen.
