ifo Konjunkturprognose Herbst 2020: Deutsche Wirtschaft weiter auf Erholungskurs

Abstract

Die Corona-Pandemie hat die Weltwirtschaft im ersten Halbjahr 2020 in eine tiefe Rezession gestürzt. Mit der schrittweisen Lockerung der Shutdown-Maßnahmen setzte spätestens im Sommer überall die Erholung ein. In Deutschland wird die Wirtschaftsleistung im Jahresdurchschnitt voraussichtlich um 5,2% niedriger sein als im Jahr 2019. Beim unterstellten Erholungstempo wird das Bruttoinlandsprodukt erst im vierten Quartal 2021 sein Vorkrisenniveau erreichen. Die jahresdurchschnittliche Wachstumsrate liegt dann im kommenden Jahr bei 5,1%. 2022 wird sich die Erholung fortsetzen und das Bruttoinlandsprodukt weiterhin überdurchschnittlich mit 1,7% zulegen.
