Konjunkturprognose Ostdeutschland und Sachsen 2010/2011 : gesamtwirtschaftliche Erholung setzt sich fort

Abstract

Die ostdeutsche Wirtschaft ist im Jahr 2009 weniger stark durch die globale Finanz- und Wirtschaftskrise beeinträchtigt worden, als die Wirtschaft im westlichen Landesteil. Ursächlich hierfür waren die vergleichsweise niedrigeren Industrie- und Exportquoten sowie die staatlichen Transferleistungen, die sich stabilisierend auf die gesamtwirtschaftliche Entwicklung ausgewirkt haben. Da der Konjunktureinbruch in Ostdeutschland weniger stark war als in Westdeutschland, ist folglich das Potenzial einer Erholung in diesem Jahr begrenzt. Im vorliegenden Beitrag werden die Ergebnisse der aktuellen ifo Dresden Konjunkturprognose dokumentiert. Der Prognose zufolge wird das Bruttoinlandsprodukt der ostdeutschen Länder (einschließlich Berlin) in den Jahren 2010 und 2011 preisbereinigt um 1,6 % bzw. 1,3 % expandieren. In Sachsen dürfte das Wirtschaftswachstum in beiden Jahren etwas stärker ausfallen. Die Lage auf dem sächsischen und ostdeutschen Arbeitsmarkt wird sich voraussichtlich zunehmend entspannen.
