Die Spezialisierung der sächsischen Industrie

Abstract

In der sächsischen Industrie hat sich ein erfolgreicher Strukturwandel vollzogen, hinter dem als treibende Kraft die komparativen Vorteile Sachsens in technologieintensiven Bereichen stehen. Dies wird sowohl im innerdeutschen als auch im internationalen Vergleich sichtbar. Gegenüber den von ihren Lohnkostenvorteilen geprägten Industriestrukturen Polens und Tschechiens hebt sich das Spezialisierungsmuster der sächsischen Industrie, das durch die intensive Nutzung von Humankapital und von neuen technischen Verfahren geprägt ist, deutlich ab.
