Abstract

This article examines the impact of blockchain in agriculture and the food supply chain, and discusses the overall implications, challenges and potentials, in context of the green agreement, which is aimed at promoting durability in all sectors, agriculture is an essential role to play in a variety of objectives durable, Introducing blockchain and digital technology could contribute to the development of a sustainable agricultural system. Research points to blockchain as a promising technology for a transparent food supply chain, with many initiatives underway in various food products and food-related issues, but many barriers and challenges still exist, preventing its wider popularity in large among farmers and systems. These challenges involve technical, education, policy and regulatory frameworks.
