Abstract

The recent pandemic that has hit the world has reactivated the recurrent debate on the relationship between patents and public health. The possible ?lifting? of patents, recommended by some people, is very ambiguous. In contrast, we must reconsider compulsory licensing in the interest of public health, in order to make it a reality and to ensure it is as effective as possible.
