Abstract

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) can be considered as a real discourse (creating the ?elements of reality? according to its content), but also as a ?prison? for big companies management, prisoners of this discourse in a circularity ?signification built by the discourse ? ?elements of reality? produced by the discourse?. And according to the existence of an important professional and academic literature on CSR, this literature is mainly zealot of a normative content because of the ?elements of reality? quoted in it. This text is built on the following argumentation: after having reminded the outlines of the ?ethical evidence? of the end of the 20th century, ?ethical evidence? which is founding the discourse on CSR, the main elements of the ideology of the ?liberal period? we live in will be presented, then the outlines of CSR before considering CSR as an ambiguous discourse.
