Interkulturelle Handlungskompetenz - Schlüsselkompetenz für die moderne Arbeitswelt

Abstract

Interkulturelle Handlungskompetenz ist eine überfachliche Schüsselqualifikation von weitreichender Bedeutung zur Bewältigung der mit zunehmender Internationalisierung und Globalisierung sich stellenden Anforderungen. Zunächst wird an einigen Beispielen die Bedeutung der Thematik für das Wirtschaftsleben und den erfolgreichen beruflichen Einsatz im Ausland erläutert. Auf diesen Grundlagen aufbauend werden die verschiedenen aufeinander Bezug nehmenden Phasen der Entwicklung interkulturellen Handelns präsentiert. So lässt sich nachvollziehen, dass interkulturelles Handeln nicht einfach so nebenbei aus praktischen Erfahrungen in der Interaktion mit ausländischen Partnern entstehen kann, sondern das Resultat eines komplexen Lern- und Entwicklungsprozesses darstellt. Im letzten Abschnitt werden zentrale Aspekte der zukünftigen Entwicklung interkultureller Handlungskompetenz als Thema von Ausbildung und Qualifizierung angesprochen, wie interkulturelle Trainings, interkulturelles Erfahrungswissen, Kulturspezifität trainingsdidaktischer Konzepte und die lebensbiographische Entwicklung interkultureller Handlungskompetenz.
